Following an adequate technique when first approaching an exam is crucial: it helps you manage your time wisely and maintain motivation, which will ultimately affect your grade. Use the following method to tackle any exam like a pro.
Create a ‘key’ to apply all throughout the exam based on how much you think you know about each question:
For questions you know perfectly and can answer quickly
For questions you know but will take longer to answer
For questions you know in halves
For questions you know only a bit
For questions you don’t know
After you have adequately cataloged your questions, you will start answering the ‘1s’, followed by the ‘2s’, the ‘3s’, the ‘4s’ and, lastly, the ‘5s’.
By following this method, you will make the most of the time you have without wasting time in questions you don’t know and losing it for questions you do know. On top of this, you will also maintain your motivation throughout the exam, which grants betters responses and results.
